The Schanbacher Character Scholarship Endowment was established by gifts to the Õ¬ÄÐÊÓÆµ State University Foundation, Inc. (MSU Foundation) from Dr. Eugene & Mrs. Priscilla Schanbacher to recognize and reward young people who possess high moral character; to help develop and promote higher character and integrity in student’s lives; and to provide financial assistance to post-secondary students, who may not otherwise be able to attend college.
Õ¬ÄÐÊÓÆµ State University has Õ¬ÄÐÊÓÆµ a total of 18 incoming students with the prestigious Presidential Fellowship, which includes full tuition, housing and meals for up to four years at the University.
Three Õ¬ÄÐÊÓÆµ State University faculty members were selected to receive grants from the Giving Back Endowment’s Faculty Innovation Initiative: Dr. Kimberly Vigil, Dr. Bommanna Loganathan, and Dr. Joshua Ridley.
Õ¬ÄÐÊÓÆµ State University student Rose Nelson of Cadiz, Kentucky has been Õ¬ÄÐÊÓÆµ a prestigious Fulbright scholarship.
