Institutional Accreditation

Õ¬ÄÐÊÓÆµ State University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, educational specialist and doctorate degrees. Õ¬ÄÐÊÓÆµ State University also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Degree Granting Authority

Õ¬ÄÐÊÓÆµ State University is officially recognized as a state university in the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Revised Statutes (KRS) 164.290. By the authority vested in the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) by the Commonwealth of Kentucky (KRS 164.295), Õ¬ÄÐÊÓÆµ State University has the authority to grant the following degree levels within the Commonwealth: 

  • Associate

  • Baccalaureate

  • Specialist

  • Advanced Practice Doctorate

  • Certificates (undergraduate and graduate)
