MURRAY, Ky. — National accolades continue to be received by լƵ State University, as the institution has been recognized by both Forbes and the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education for quality and value.

Forbes has named լƵ State as one of “America’s Top Colleges” in 2021.  For more than 12 years, լƵ State has been recognized nationally by Forbes and in 2021, լƵ State is the highest-ranked regional public university in Kentucky.

լƵ State has been recognized again this year nationally by the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education in its 2022 college rankings.

The rankings are based on multiple factors in areas including school resources, student engagement, student outcomes and the learning environment/diversity.

The University was highlighted earlier this month as a best value for students seeking a college degree by Washington Monthly in its “Best Bang for the Buck” rankings, as well as a top-tier university by U.S. News & World Report for the 31st consecutive year.

“National rankings such as these continue to affirm why լƵ State University is truly one of America’s best colleges,” լƵ State President Dr. Bob Jackson said. “We are very proud of our nationally-recognized academic programs and enriching campus life experience led by our caring, dedicated faculty and staff. Each day, we are committed to providing access, affordability and quality for our current students and their families throughout their college journey, as well as for future Racers.”
